COLORADO SPRINGS (FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018) – USA Basketball announced today the 12 players that will represent the country during the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018, August 1-7 in Mexico City.

“What a wonderful group that we had out here competing for the U18 team,” said head coach Jeff Walz. “It was a group that competed in every single scrimmage. They went out and did exactly what they were asked to do. The energy level was fantastic. It was a remarkable three days of trials.
“Now that the team has been selected, you’ve got your 12,” Walz said of the roster. “Now, we are looking forward to getting to know them and finding out what combinations will work the best.”
The Draw of the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship will be held on July 10.
The top-four teams from the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018 will qualify to the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2019.
