    Key Rules at a Glance

    🏀
    Team & Player Eligibility
    • Each team represents one National Member Federation (NMF).

    • Teams consist of 5–7 players (online competitions) or 5 players (in-person).

    • Players must:

    - Be at least 16 years old - Hold the nationality of the NMF they represent - Play for only one NMF per season

    • Only verified players approved by FIBA may compete.

    Game Setup & Equipment
    • All games are played on NBA 2K (latest version) on PlayStation 5.

    • Players must have:

      • A valid PSN ID

      • An active PlayStation Plus subscription

    • External devices (Cronus, Zens, or similar) are strictly prohibited.

    ⏱️
    Match Operations & Punctuality
    • Official communication is conducted only via the competition Discord.

    • Teams must be on time:

      • Arriving 5 minutes late results in a forfeit (0–20 loss).

    • Home and Away teams are assigned by officials and must follow the code search procedure exactly.

    Avatars & Gameplay Rules
    • Each player’s avatar must have a minimum overall rating of 90.

    • Rhythm Shooting is NOT allowed:

      • Any points scored using it will be invalidated.

    • Avatars may not resemble real-life public figures without consent.

    Disconnects & Technical Issues
    • If a player disconnects:

      • The game continues with AI controlling the avatar.

    • Bugs, lag, or glitches do not justify restarts or protests.

    • Intentional or repeated disconnections may lead to disciplinary action.

    Streaming & Media Obligations
    • Each team must provide a live gameplay stream to officials.

    • Players may be required to:

      • Participate in interviews

      • Attend media days

      • Provide photos and content

    • Social media posts must include #eFIBA and tag @eFIBA_official.

    Conduct & Fair Play
    • Players must behave respectfully at all times (in-game, on stream, and on social media).

    • Prohibited behavior includes:

      • Cheating or exploiting bugs

      • Harassment, hate speech, or abusive conduct

      • Playing under the influence of alcohol or drugs

    • Violations may result in forfeits, fines, suspension, or disqualification.
