Each team will play against all other teams in its own group (a total of 5 games for each team).

The top three teams from each tournament will qualify for the Women’s World Cup, along with a Continental Cup winner.
In the Qualifying Tournament that features both a Continental Cup champion and host nation Germany, only the top two teams will advance.
