    Media Accreditation

Media accreditation process for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualification Tournaments is scheduled to open on February 9.

All interested media (local & international) should apply online through the FIBA Accreditation Portal.

    Application deadline: March 6 (23:59 GMT+2)

    HOW TO APPLY

Please check the step-by-step guide "How to apply" in the graphic above, to help submit your accreditation request via the FIBA Accreditation Portal.

Creating a profile or logging in to a previously existing account is not an application in itself; you must make certain that after you create a profile (account) you also proceed to apply for the event.

All applicants are responsible for their travel visa, should one be required.

If you have questions, please email us at media.operations@fiba.basketball

    GENERAL CONDITIONS

Successful applicants will be notified by FIBA; completing the application form does not automatically guarantee accreditation.

In order to be considered for media credentials, an applicant must represent a bona fide media organization that produces and publishes original content.

Applications for media credentials by agents, educational booklet authors, fans or fan bloggers, or media that do not produce original content, based on generally accepted news gathering criteria, will not be considered.

Freelancers may be asked to prove that they are on assignment with a media outlet in order to be considered for credentials.

Credentials will be awarded on the basis of the accreditation history of the applying media, relevance to the event and basketball in general, as well as space availability in the different venues.
