FIBA Women's AfroBasket 2025
Amy OKONKWO MVP of the FIBA Women's AfroBasket 2023.
The FIBA Women's AfroBasket is the flagship competition for African women's basketball. It takes place every two years and brings together the 12 best teams on the continent.
These recent editions have all kept their promises to basketball lovers.
In 2019, during the final in Senegal, the competition broke the record for the fullest arena at a FIBA Africa event.
That same edition was the beginning of an undisputed reign for the D'tigress, who since then have not lost a single match in the competition.
The qualifiers for the Women's AfroBasket 2025, scheduled for Côte d'Ivoire, will take place between August and October 2024 in the various FIBA Africa zones.
