    How To Qualify

    WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE FIBA WOMEN'S AFROBASKET 2025 - QUALIFIERS

    Five national teams have automatically qualified (the four semi-finalists from the last edition plus the host country) for the FIBA Women's AfroBasket 2025.

    Nigeria (defending champions), Senegal (runners-up), Mali (bronze medallists), Rwanda (semi-finalists) and Côte d'Ivoire (host country).

    In addition to these countries, seven others will be in contention for the finals in Abidjan, but after the knockout stages.

    The champion of each zonal phase will qualify and join the 5 nations already qualified. The possibility of a team participating by invitation is not to be banned.

    In the coming weeks, we will know which teams will be in contention for the qualifiers and who will host them.

    These playoffs will take place in the period from August 2024 to Febuary 2025.
