To quality for this event, teams will face in regional qualifiers.
2022 FIBA U18 African Championship - All Stars Five
Each FIBA Africa zone organises qualifiers where only the champion team of the zone qualifies for the FIBA U18 AfroBasket 2024 finals. So we have : - Zone 1: Tunisia - Morocco - Algeria - Zone 2: Guinea - Senegal - Zone 3 : Ivory Coast - Benin - Nigeria - Ghana - Liberia - Zone 4: Cameroon - Zone 5 : Uganda - Rwanda Kenya -Tanzania - Zone 6 : Zambia - Zimbabwe - Zone 7 : No organiser and therefore no qualifier - Automatic qualifiers : * South Africa - Host country * Egypt - Madagascar - Mali - Angola (the four semi-finalists from the last edition) * One team will be designated as a wild card.
The finals will be held in Pretoria, South Africa from 02 to 14 September 2024 with 12 teams.
