FIBA U16 AfroBasket
The FIBA U16 AfroBasket, formerly known as the FIBA African U16 Championship, is a biennial international youth basketball competition organised by FIBA Africa, in which the men's U16 national teams take part.
Guinea: FIBA U16 AfroBasket 2023 - Champions
The first edition of this championship took place in 2009 in Maputo, Mozambique. Egypt won the first-ever continental U16 title.
This year, the competition will take place in Rwanda, from 2 to 14 September 2025.
The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup, where the top two teams qualify.
