However, despite the loss, Hebraica Macabi qualified for the Quarterfinals.
Boca Jrs got off to the strong start, rallying for 26 points to Macabi's 23, with Marcos Mata and Jose Vildoza leading early.
Ernesto Ogilvie and Jordan Williams anchored Macabi early, but it was the second quarter where they made a statement as they outscored Boca Jrs 23-14 and played hard defensively to keep them at bay.
Franklin Hassell also had another strong showing for Macabi, dominating using his length and showing the size that Macabi brings to the competition.
Luciano Parodi played tough defense while also driving the net for baskets, helping increase their lead to 6 points at the half.
Ogilvie and Federico Haller continued to lead Macabi in the third quarter offensively, while Vildoza and Mata led Boca Jrs with the help of Leo Schattmann.
A three-pointer from Ogilvie saw the two teams tied with 45 seconds to play in the quarter, but a Vildoza three in return gave Boca Jrs a one-point lead heading into the fourth.
The fourth quarter was all Boca Jrs as they held Macabi to just 12 points, as they started to pull away after either team was unable to find a rhythm in the first three minutes of play.
Despite Macabi dominating in almost all areas of the game, Boca Jrs' ability to move the ball and have multiple open shots proved to be the recipe to win as they scored 23 fourth quarter points.

Vildoza led Boca Jrs with 20 points and 8 assist including shooting 75 percent from the three-point line. Mata added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists while Schattmann added 16 points in the win.
Hassell led Macabi with 20 points and 13 rebounds while Ogilvie added 18 points in the loss.
