The best performers from the last BCLA group stage of season 4

MIAMI (United States) – The 2022-23 Basketball Champions League Americas Group Stage has concluded, with Libertadores and Real Estelí (Group A), Quimsa and Minas (Group B), Flamengo and Peñarol (Group C) and Franca and UdeC (Group D) advancing to the Final 8. Those teams were led by several players who put on outstanding performances. These were some of the most influential during the last window of the group stage:

Group A: Ismael Romero - Libertadores

PTS: 22.5 | FG: 64% | REB: 10.0 | AST: 3.0 | EFF: 23.5

"El Cubanazo" unleashed all his power and there was no way to stop his drives to the rim. That was instrumental in his team winning both games and finishing first in the group. During the third window, the big man scored 19 points against Real Estelí and 26 against Honey Badgers, making 18 of 26 shots across the two matchups.

Group B: Brandon Robinson - Quimsa

PTS: 23.5 | REB: 5.5 | AST: 2.5 | STL 2.0 | EFF: 24.5

He's been the most important offensive contributor for Quimsa all tournament, but even more during the latest window. In the win against Biguá, he had 18 points and a tournament-high 8 rebounds. Then, against Minas, he went off for 29 points, surpassing the 27 he had notched against the Brazilians in their first matchup.

Group C: Martín Cuello - Flamengo

PTS: 15.0 | 3P: 45% | REB: 7.0 | AST: 5.0 | EFF: 21.0

The Argentinian wing had been excelling at his complementary role for Flamengo during the current tournament but took a step forward in the last window and gained more notoriety. In the win against Instituto, which allowed Flamengo to clinch their spot in the Final 8, Cuello had a sensational performance that fell just short of a triple-double: 22 points (including 4 three-pointers), 11 rebounds and 7 assists.

Group D: Georginho De Paula - Franca

PTS: 17.0 | REB: 5.0 | AST: 4.5 | STL: 2.0 | EFF: 25.0

De Paula's consistency during these BCL Americas was one of Franca's biggest strengths and a catalyst for them finishing as the only undefeated squad in the group stage. The versatile forward was among the most outstanding players during all three windows and once again shined for the Brazilians, displaying his amazing blend of offense and defense.
