    World Cup record owner Arturs Zagars finishes with most assists in 2023. Check the race from start to finish

    MANILA/OKINAWA/JAKARTA (Philippines/Japan/Indonesia) - It was an exciting FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 with so many of the best players in the world trying their best to will their way to get the Naismith Trophy.

     

     

    Sharing is caring and, more often than not, it also means winning. These World Cup stars did their part in sharing the rocks, setting up their teammates to score with delicious dimes throughout the competition.

    South Sudan's Carlik Jones ended up with the highest assists per game average at 10.4 per game, but it was Arturs Zagars who finished with the most amount of dimes throughout the event. This was highlighted by his last game in the competition where he dropped a World Cup record of 17 assists to help debutants Latvia get 5th place.
