No-look threes, one-legged threes and a World Cup ticket: Wembanyama does it all, again

PAU (France) - There is never a dull moment when Victor Wembanyama takes the court. The 18-year-old had his home debut for France, leading the nation to a massive 92-56 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina en route to securing qualification for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

Just three days after putting up 20 points and 9 rebounds on the road in Lithuania, the next big thing from France tormented BIH's defense to finish with another team-high of 19 points, while adding 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks to his stat line.

"ON THIS SPORTING SIDE, THIS WAS A DREAM." - Wembanyama on playing for France

Victor looked unstoppable, and had fun doing it. He went into full Steph Curry mode, shooting a three-pointer and turning the other way knowing it's going in without even looking at it. He took it to the next level by sinking another patented one-legged three-pointer.

And speaking of levels, he was climbing a virtual ladder for his spectacular dunks and blocks, in just another day at the office for the youngster, but also another day of the entire planet getting loud in attempts to sing the most flamboyant notes about the never-seen-before talent of Wembanyama.

France are officially in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 draw now.
Having finished third at the 2014 and 2019 editions of the Final Round, they will targeting even bigger heights now with Wembanyama adding further talent to an already impressive roster that finished second in the Tokyo Olympics as well.

"Beyond basketball, this was an unbelievable group of guys. We could not have dreamed of a better one. We were able to strike hard from the start. On the sporting side, this was a dream. The NBA will be a whole new world, but I want to be at the World Cup in 2023," Wembanyama said after the game.

See you there, Victor.
