MANILA (Philippines) - The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) have announced an 11-player roster ahead of the third window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers.

Dwight Ramos and William Navarro return to action from the February window. Ramos has been outstanding for the Philippines so far, leading the team in rebounds with 7.0 per game while also scoring 17.5 points per contest.

Gilas veteran Kiefer Ravena will also be making his first appearance in the Word Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers and has been appointed as team captain. Ravena boasts the most experience in the roster for this upcoming window, highlighted by a World Cup 2019 appearance.

The majority of the players listed are returning from the Philippines' run in the FIBA Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers including RJ Abarrientos, Dave Ildefonso, Carl Tamayo, Francis Lopez, SJ Belangel, and Geo Chiu.

Among the players that are eyeing a senior national team debut are college standouts Rhenz Abando and Kevin Quiambao.

The Philippines will be playing two games in the June Window. The first game is against New Zealand on June 30 in Auckland. That will be followed by a clash against India on July 3 in Manila.
