ALEXANDRIA/LUANDA (Egypt/Angola) - Day 2 of Window 6 of the African Qualifiers was a bit like a three-point contest for a number of players who helped their teams improve their records in Groups E and F.

A new record for most three-point made in a single game was set on Saturday, on the day Angola secured Group E's second qualifying spot for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Here is your opportunity to vote for your Most Valuable Player (MVP) from Saturdays action in Alexandria and Luanda.

Cote d'Ivoire's Sire Dieng was 7-for-13 from behind the arc to set a record for most three-points in a single African Qualifiers game as the Elephants outscored Uganda 89-44 in Luanda.

Tunisia's Omar Abada converted 6 of his 9 three-pointers attempts to finish with a game-high of 26 point as the reigning African champions beat Senegal 70-53 in Alexandria.

South Sudan's Majok Deng came off the bench to make 6 of his 8 shooting attempts, including a 3-for-4 shooting from beyond the arc to go with 18 points and help South Sudan beat Congo DR 82-61. Majok Deng only needed to be 15:05 on the floor.

They call him little giant for a reason. On Saturday night's 80-67 win over Cape Verde, Childe Dundao came off to change the course of the game for Angola. In 26 minutes on the floor the 167cm (5'6") point guard had a 5-for-11 shooting to lead all players in scoring and finish with 23 points. In the process, Angola qualified for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Benoit Mbala only needed 22 minutes on the floor to make 6 of his 10 shooting attempts and finish with 18 points in Cameroon's 71-63 upset of Egypt.
