    "War Elephant" revealed as concept for FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019 design

    BANGKOK (Thailand) – The logo for the Final 8 of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019 has been revealed and announced ahead of the tilt to be held in Thailand from 24-29 September.

    BANGKOK (Thailand) – The logo for the Final 8 of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019 has been revealed and announced ahead of the tilt to be held in Thailand from 24-29 September.

    The concept behind the design was described to depict a "War Elephant", a sacred and honorable symbol that represents the host country of the competition, Thailand. The elephant is an animal of incredible strength, durability, and grace, all qualities of which are expected from the athletes at the Champions Cup.

    Moreover, the elephant is the official national animal of the country and is one of the most respected symbols in the country.

    The teams participating in the Final 8 round are Hitech Bangkok City (THA), Naft Abadan (IRI), Fubon Braves (TPE), Muharraq (BRN), Alvark Tokyo (JPN), Hyundai Mobis (KOR), Al Riyadi (LBN), and Guangdong Southern Tigers (CHN).
