BANGKOK (Thailand) – The Road to Final 8 East Asia of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019 will be going underway in Thailand from August 13-15. The games will be played at the Thai-Japanese Youth Arena 1, Bangkok.
The participating teams are:
1. Hitech Bangkok City (THA)
2. Fubon Braves (TPE)
3. Punjab Police (IND)
4. SAFSA (Singapore)
Hitech are the defending champions of the Thailand Basketball League (TBL), which was also their second time winning the competition. The team features Thailand national team stars like Chantip Jakrawan and Nattakarn Meungboon.

The Fubon Braves of Chinese Taipei recently won their first ever Super Basketball League (SBL) championship in their second consecutive trip to the league finals. The Braves have many recognizable names in their lineup such as the likes of Lin Shu Wei (Joseph Lin) and Hung Chih-Shan.
Punjab Police of India won the 33rd Federation Cup this year with a star-studded squad including Amjyot Singh and Amritpal Singh.
SAFSA are the Singapore Armed Forces Sports Association team and play in the Singapore National Basketball League (NBL) where they are the defending champions. The team is led by Singapore national team standout Leon Kwek.

All 4 teams will play in a single round robin format to determine the top two teams that will advance to the Final 8 of FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019.
