DUBAI (FIBA U16 Asian Championship 2019) – Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have clinched places at FIBA U16 Asian Championship 2019.

Both teams punched their tickets for the event by finishing first and second at the FIBA Asia U16 GBA Qualifiers that was just held in Dubai, UAE.

Saudi Arabia swept the tournament with four wins including a thrilling victory over Bahrain, who beat winless Qatar on the Final Day to improve to 3-1 and clinch second spot!

The FIBA U16 Asian Championship takes place every two years and qualify 4 teams for the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup.
