    FIBA U18 AmeriCup 2024 groups are defined

    Before the draw procedure, the teams were placed in pairs taking into account their position in the FIBA ​​Nike Youth Ranking. Pot 1 has the United States and Canada, Brazil and Puerto Rico are in Pot 2, Argentina and the Dominican Republic are in Pot 3 and in Pot 4 Belize and Venezuela. Then, the teams of each group and their spot were drawn.

    In the Group Stage of the tournament, each team will play against the teams in their group to define the qualifying order for the Quarter-Finals. There, the eight teams will meet in this order:

    2nd A – 3rd B
    2nd B – 3rd A
    1st B – 4th A

    The four winners will advance to the Semi-Finals and the rest will play for positions 5-8.

    The top four teams from the FIBA ​​U18 AmeriCup will qualify for the FIBA ​​U19 Basketball World Cup 2025.
