MIAMI (United States) – The official draw for the FIBA U18 ​​AmeriCup 2024, which will be played from June 3 to 9 at the Obras Sanitarias stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina, took place on May 1, in the city of Miami, at the FIBA ​​Regional Office in the Americas.

Before the draw procedure, the teams were placed in pairs taking into account their position in the FIBA ​​Nike Youth Ranking. Pot 1 has the United States and Canada, Brazil and Puerto Rico are in Pot 2, Argentina and the Dominican Republic are in Pot 3 and in Pot 4 Belize and Venezuela. The four winners will advance to the Semi-Finals and the rest will play for positions 5-8.
