How to qualify
The qualifiers for FIBA AfroBasket 2025 will see the participation of 20 national teams: Angola, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Gabon, Guinea, Kenya, Libya, Madagascar, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Sudan, Tunisia, Uganda.
The 20 teams will be divided into five groups of four teams each. Each team will play each opponent in its group twice in a "tournament" format over three windows, which will take place from 19 to 27 February 2024, from 18 to 26 November 2024 and from 17 to 25 February 2025.
After this qualifiers, 16 best teams of Africa will play the must important tournament named AfroBasket 2025.
