    NIGERIA v CAMEROON
As the defending champions Nigeria currently sit as the highest ranked African team in the NIKE FIBA World Rankings while Cameroon come in seventh place among the 24 ranked African teams.

At first glance, defending champions Nigeria look stronger and favourite to advance to the semis.

Both teams reached the Last Eight with a similar 2-1 record.
Nigeria opened their Group A with wins over Côte d'Ivoire and Mali, but were unable to overcome a resilient Congolese team.

Cameroon, meanwhile, opened their Group C campaign with a defeat against hosts Tunisia but bounced-back with two wins over Guinea and Rwanda.

The last time these two teams met at FIBA AfroBasket 2013, Nigeria prevailed in Group Phase although Cameroon emerged winners in 2009.

While Nigeria entered the Last Eight on the back of shocking defeat to DR Congo, Cameroon will step on the floor highly motivated for reaching the Quarter-Finals for the fourth time in a row.

TALENTS TO WATCH: Ike Diogu, Ikechukwu Nwamu and Ikenna Iroegbu (Nigeria). Benoit Mbala, Adala Moto and Felix Bogmis (Cameroon).
