LUANDA (Angola) - Petro Atletico de Luanda and Primeiro D'Agosto take to the court on Friday, April 5th in the Angolan capital of Luanda to determine the first of four FIBA ABL 2019 FINAL-FOUR participants

LUANDA (Angola) - Petro Atletico de Luanda and Primeiro D'Agosto take to the court on Friday, April 5th in the Angolan capital of Luanda to determine the first of four FIBA Africa Basketball League 2019 FINAL-FOUR participants.

It's a decisive matchup of the two-game series, which started with a D'Agosto 70-57 win two weeks ago.

Back then, hosts Petro Atletico had a solid start to the game, however, it was a matter of time for the Angolan champions who turned the game in their favour.

Emmanuel Quezada scored a tournament-high 36 points (more than half of his team) to help the eight-time African champions extend their winning streak to four games.

With their FIBA Africa Basketball League 2019 season on the line, Petro Atletico need to beat their local and continental rivals by 13 points or more to stay alive in the competition.

It's a task that looks challenging for Petro Atletico who closed their Unitel Basket League 2019 campaign two points adrift of D'Agosto.

However, the 2015 African champions have reasons to stay positive for this ELITE 8 clash, especially after beating D'Agosto 99-90 in the first-leg of the Angolan Cup a week ago.

Petro Atletico shooting guard Carlos Morais stepped up, finishing with a game-high 20 points in what was his best display since he returned to his childhood club a month ago.

Carlos Morais (the 2012 FIBA Africa Champions Cup MVP) rejoined Petro Atletico after a 5-year stint in Portugal and Italy

Quezada and Morais aside, a number of talents will be at display on Friday, namely Petro Atletico's trio of Leonel Paulo, Childe Dundao and Olimpio Cipriano, while D'Agosto will count with the services of Islando Manuel, Felizardo Ambrosio and Edson Ndoniema.

The game will be live-streamed on FIBA' Youtube Channel, Friday, April 5th 18:00 GMT+ 1 .
