VISA INFORMATION

Visitors to Mozambique must obtain a visa from one of the Mozambican diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or countries that are eligible for visa on arrival. Visitors must hold passports that are valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival to Mozambique.
Visas for Mozambique can be obtained from Mozambican Diplomatic and Consular abroad.

MAPUTO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Maputo International Airport is located approximately 5 km from Maputo City Centre.

TRANSPORTATION

The LOC shall provide local transportation by means of cars and buses, for Team Delegations, FIBA Africa Officiating Team, FIBA Africa Staff and Representatives, and Accredited Media (if applicable). All means of transport will be clean of high quality equipped with air conditioning system and branded in line with FIBA Brand Identity with skilled and experienced drivers. All drivers will have on-the-dot time schedule and always reachable through official mobile line. All means of transport will have insurance umbrella.

SECURITY

Spectators will be allowed to sit on seats indicated on their respective ticket and must show their ticket during checks.

Any spectator who will have an irresponsible, dangerous or reprehensible behavior involved in a fight, in the throwing of an object or trying to enter the parquet will be automatically expelled from the arena.

Indecent messages of a rude, racial, sexist, obscene or offensive word and gesture through signs or clothing will be strictly prohibited. They will have to comply with the requirements of the security team regarding the operation of the room and emergency response procedures.

Venue staff will be trained to intervene when necessary to help maintain order and also guests will be asked to report any inappropriate behavior to security guards or the attendant assigned to the team.

The Mozambican Basketball Federation, the host federation, the Mozambican government and the sports complex hosting the games are committed to providing a healthy, enjoyable, friendly and enjoyable sporting event.
