How to qualify?

The FIBA Women’s U18 African Championship 2018 Qualifiers will tip off on June 17 with more than 15 teams doing battle across seven zones (groups) to secure spots for the Final Round.
All zone qualifiers will be played in a round-robin format with the top team from each of the seven zones qualifying for FIBA Women’s U18 African Championship 2018 which will take place from August 17-26.
Tournament hosts Mozambique, along with reigning champions Mali as well as Egypt, Angola and Madagascar – who finished among the top five teams of the competition in 2016 are automatically qualified.
