For the 6th consecutive year, the event will take place in the heart of the Olympic capital, on Place Centrale.
In 2018 the Masters will be held on 2 days and 4 total sessions.
Session 1 (start of the pool stage + breakdance competition): Friday August 24, 2-6pm local time (GMT+2) Session 2 (end of the pool stage + breakdance final): Friday August 24, 6.50-9.40pm Session 3 (quarter-finals): Saturday August 25, 4-6.15pm Session 4 (dunk contest, semi-finals and finals): Saturday August 25, 7-9.45pm
This marks the first time the Lausanne Masters will not have free entrance. Last year, the participation and success of Team Lausanne (runner-ups) brought an even larger crowd than in previous years which translated into long waiting lines. The local organizers introduced a symbolic price for the tickets (see below) in order to combine affordability and a better service for the fans.
