The participants are the hosts (Qatar) and the top Asian teams in the FIBA 3x3 Federation Ranking (on November 1, 2021), which are not yet qualified for the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2022.
The winner in each gender will secure their ticket to the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2022.
