Getting there

Museum Square is located in the middle of the inner-city of Amsterdam. We strongly recommend to travel by public transport towards Museum Square due to the expected traffic.

Public Transport
If you travel within Amsterdam, then we recommend you to take the following trams:
- From Central Station: tram 2, 5 or 16 (stop Rijksmuseum)
- From station Amsterdam Zuid: tram 5 (stop Museumplein)
- From station Amsterdam Sloterdijk: tram 12 (stop Museumplein), or metro          towards Weesperplein and then tram 7 or 10 (stop Spiegelgracht)
- From regional bus station Marnixstraat: tram 7 or 10 (stop Spiegelgracht), bus    170, 172,     174 or 197 (stop Rijksmuseum)
- From Schiphol Airport: bus 197 (stop Rijksmuseum)

Car
Parking is very limited in the surroundings of Museum Square. There is a secured Q-Park parking garage underneath Museum Square (address: van Baerlestraat 33B, at the entrance of the Royal Concertgebouw).
