SINGAPORE - 3x3's wonder women are ready to launch the season in style at the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2023 on March 29-April 2. 

Here are the top players you just have to watch. 

Anneli Maley (Australia) 

She's back! After leading Australia to silver last year in Singapore, athletic Anneli Maley has gold in her sights. 

The 24-year-old is all heart and skill as we saw last year when she finished on the team of the tournament. The former WNBA player can score buckets at will but also play lockdown D to be an unstoppable all-round force. 

The 6ft. 1in (1.85m) dynamo is the heart and soul of Australia as they aim to regain their crown as Asia's best.

Khulan Onolbaatar (Mongolia)

Onolbaatar has been carrying the flag for 3x3-crazy nation Mongolia for years, but she's still just 23. 

Only just entering what should be her peak, the 5ft. 11in (1.8m) Olympian is set to make another leap and that spells trouble for her opponents in Singapore. 

Onolbaatar is a certified bucket getter and if she heats up Singapore then Mongolia's women might have a chance of a first-ever podium finish.  

Janine Pontejos (Philippines)

Who is the No.1 sniper in Singapore? It might just be Janine Pontejos, who can shoot the lights out as she has shown previously in major shoot-out contests. 

She'll make you pay if you leave her open, but Pontejos doesn't just boast a shooter's roll. The 30-year-old has insane handles and can blow by defenders if they attempt to play lockdown D. 

Pontejos can become a national hero if she leads hoops-obsessed Philippines to their first-ever medal at the Asia Cup. 

Raspreet Sidhu (India)

India loom as a 3x3 sleeping giant and interest is growing in a land of over one billion. 

So far they've been well led by several 3x3 pioneers, including Raspreet Sidhu who has shown her sublime shooting skills at previous Asia Cups. 

She was never better than at the 2017 edition, where she was a human flame-thrower to finish with 28 points from five games. 

It's been a while since we've seen her back on the international stage.

Esra McGoldrick (New Zealand)

You want a breakout star? Then your eyes should be trained on 23-year-old Esra McGoldrick, who has starred in local competitions and she is ready to take her talents to the big stage. 

The 6ft. 2 in (1.87m) athletic marvel is a scoring machine who can be impossible to stop when she's parked in the paint.

Former Asia Cup champs New Zealand will be itching to get back into medal contention having missed out on the podium in the last two editions. 

They are a strong chance to do just that if McGoldrick emerges as the breakout star.

Yua Emura (Japan)

Another young gun in Singapore is this speedy Japanese rising star, who turned heads during eye-catching performances at the FIBA 3x3 U23 Nations League 2022 and FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup 2022. 

At just 20, Emura has the 3x3 world in the palm of her hands and she'll be a fan favorite in Singapore. Emura might be short but she stands large on the half-court with her bag of tricks. 

Emura can cross up like she's at church and drive down the lane like she's in a Lexus before flipping in a layup over a taller defender. 

There might not be a more entertaining player in Singapore than Yua Emura.
