MIES – The new IBF Executive committee as well as the newly formed Basketball For Good Advisory Committee and the Fundraising Advisory Committee met for the first time today at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball in Mies.

All members acknowledged the great work that the IBF has been doing in its young existence whilst highlighting the need to evaluate new opportunities. Both IBF President Horacio Muratore and FIBA President Hamane Niang, who have been able to witness firsthand the impact of the different projects, gave touching testimonials.

The strategy for the next term (2019-2023) in alignment  with the FIBA strategy approved by the Congress was discussed and all committees agreed to grow the Basketball For Good movement globally. 

Over the next four years, all IBF committees will be rallying their efforts to develop more and more projects throughout the world, using basketball as a vehicle for social change.
