Game On: Captains and coaches take the mic ahead of Final Four

PRAGUE (Czech Republic) - The captains and coaches of ZVVZ USK Praha, Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding, CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld and Beretta Famila Schio have all shared their thoughts on the eve of Final Four.

Marina Maljkovic, Georgios Dikaioulakos, Natalia Hejkova and Roberto Iniguez began the Pre-Event Press Conference passing the baton to their respective club captains -  Olcay Cakir, Giorgia Sottana, Teja Oblak and Esra Ural Topuz.

Here are some of the key quotes:

"WE LEARNED A LOT FROM LAST SEASON. I THINK WE LEARNED A LOT AS A TEAM AND AS A CLUB." - Olcay Cakir

"We are so excited about being here. Fenerbahce has always been trying to get this Cup for so long and for so many years. We have been working so hard to get here and to get the Cup. We have worked hard as a team and I hope this is going to be the year for us. We learned a lot from last season. I think we learned a lot as a team and as a club. I think it is going to change us and is going to affect us in a good way." - Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding captain, Olcay Cakir

"WE WORKED HARD TO BE HERE. WE ARE GOING TO ENJOY IT, TRY OUR BEST AND SEE WHERE IT WILL TAKE US." - Giorgia Sottana

"It is nice to be here. Fenerbahce were chasing the Cup for a long time and Schio was chasing Final Four for the first time. We also worked hard to be here. We are going to enjoy it, try our best and see where it will take us. I think the important thing is to go and do what we did during the season. We know we are facing a big team, facing big names and a talented group. The key is to go and to do our best and see if the results come. We are an underdog in this because the pressure for us is less. " - Beretta Famila Schio captain, Giorgia Sottana

"WE ARE PLAYING AT HOME SO I WANT US TO SHOW OUR BEST BASKETBALL IN FRONT OF OUR FANS." - Teja Oblak

"We have been getting ready for Mersin and getting ready for our oppjennts. We are playing at home so I want us to show our best basketball in front of our fans and see in the end where we will come. Last season we failed in the Semi-Finals, but now it is another Final Four for us. If we want more, we have to do our best in every game." - ZVVZ USK Praha captain, Teja Oblak

"AFTER ROBERTO [INIGUEZ] ARRIVED, EVERYTHING CHANGED... OUR TEAM CHEMISTRY IS AMAZING." - Esra Ural Topuz

"We had a tough season. We had a lot of changes and problems, but we made it and at the end of the season we have found the best of us. We are very happy and will fight until the last seconds. After Roberto [Iniguez] arrived - everything changed. He has been really different for us. We like to work with him. We are lucky to work with him. Our team chemistry is amazing. On the first day he said we have to win this practice - not the next game or a cup. This is our mentality." - CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld captain, Esra Ural Topuz

"My team is ready to play the two games. They are totally ready for this moment. The Final Four format has always been the best possible thing to show the most competitive style of basketball. This is a format that doesn't accept favorites. We have showed that we are playing as a team and this is the most important moment when you have to play your best basketball." - Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding head coach, Marina Maljkovic

"We believe that we are the 'Cinderella of this Final Four'. It is the first time for all of our players that they will be present in this kind of competition. Stress kills so we have to relax and enjoy every rebound and every situation - positive or negative. We have to be ready to go to war." - Beretta Famila Schio head coach, Georgios Dikaioulakos

"It is different because we are at home. We are very proud to be the host team because more is there than Final Four? We are happy for our fans as they can watch the best players and the best teams. We are ready to compete. You have to be ready and you have to have luck. In previous years we have had bad luck on our side." - ZVVZ USK Praha head coach, Natalia Hejkova

"For our club it is the biggest step to be here. For the first time we are in the Final Four. We are happy to compete and to play. The most difficult thing now is to be here every year and we ae are thinking about the future. I am very proud of my players and they have to show we are here to compete. I think I have competitors in the team. They have all helped each other during the season." - CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld head coach, Roberto Iniguez
