XI'AN/BEIJING, China - The first-ever FIBA World Basketball Summit, a gathering of stakeholders from across the globe setting out to build the sport's future, will take place in Xi'an, China, on October 3-4.

The two-day event will bring together a wide range of high-ranking personalities in world basketball - from top level officials and management personnel in federations, clubs and leagues, to business leaders and heads of corporations across areas such as media and technology, brands and corporate social responsibility.

This is the first individual sport summit of its kind and marks a significant milestone in the history of basketball's development, reflecting both the global popularity and maturity of the game.

The FIBA World Basketball Summit is a "can't miss" annual get-together for all who play key roles in basketball's global ecosystem. It is a unique opportunity for these personalities to share their experience and knowledge, while also taking advantage of the sport's biggest platform to promote their competitions, activities and interests.
