Isa and Sia unveiled as FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 mascots

MUNICH (Germany) - Isa and Sia were unveiled as the official mascots of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 on Thursday.

Representing the hosts, Israel and Slovenia, the twin sisters each exhibit a unique set of strengths and abilities and are both ready to do amazing things through passion and unity.

Isa loves the ocean and would be hitting the waves in Tel Aviv if she wasn't in full on training mode. Meanwhile, Sia prefers the mountains as they fill her with both power and calmness, which she then brings to the court in Ljubljana.

The FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 will take place from June 15-25, 2023.

The 16-team field for the 39th edition of the flagship event is set to be finalized on Sunday following the conclusion of the Qualifiers, which tipped off in November 2021 and included 36 national teams from across Europe.

The Group Phase and the corresponding Quarter-Finals will be played in Tel Aviv, Israel and Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The competition will move to the Slovenian capital Ljubljana for the Final Phase, where the new champions of Europe will be crowned.
