Dazzling Dubljevic display delivers Gameday 5 Top Performer crown

MUNICH (Germany) - Jelena Dubljevic returned to national team duties in spectacular fashion as she showed out for Montenegro to be crowned Top Performer for Gameday 5 of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers.

The veteran forward proved to be unstoppable as she inspired a memorable 69-67 success for her team against Sweden to rejuvenate their prospects of advancing to the Final Round. Dubljevic amassed a performance valuation of 42 as she put up a stellar 34 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists.

Bosnia and Herzegovina are heading to the Final Round for the first time in more than 20 years, thanks mainly to Courtney Hurt. The forward debuted for her adopted country in style as she poured in 30 points and added 13 boards in a momentous 67-62 victory against Switzerland.

Croatia are also safely into the Final Round after being absent at the last two editions. Iva Slonjsak starred with a superb 23 points from 75 percent shooting to propel her team past Germany 80-66.  She also completed a double-double by pulling down 10 rebounds.

Czech Republic look set to rubber-stamp their passage to the Final Round after the imposing physical presence of Julia Reisingerova was instrumental in securing a 100-52 blowout of Romania. The center was too hot to handle and finished with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Finally, Krystyna Matsko brought Ukraine closer to the Final Round as she came alive against Portugal with a vibrant 29 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in a comfortable 87-58 triumph.
