Quarter-Finals set for 2015 FIBA Africa U16 Women's Championship

ANTANANARIVO (2015 FIBA Africa U16 Women's Championship) - The four fixtures for Quarter-Finals of the 2015 FIBA Africa U16 Women's Championship are known.

On Friday, Tunisia will square off against Nigeria, Egypt will face Mozambique and Angola take on hosts Madagascar. The last fixture will see Morocco go up against reigning champions Mali.

Nigeria, on their debut in the tournament, finished as the best team in the preliminary round, winning all of their games against their Group A opponents.

Tunisia will have a tough task as Nigeria are now seen as one of the teams to beat.

Three-time runners-up Egypt, who struggled in the first round, will face Mozambique.

Stunned 54-52 by Nigeria in their first game in Group A, Egypt also lost their second game against hosts Madagascar. Their only victory of the tournament so far came against Morocco, 62-37.

Mozambique, who came in third in 2013, competed in Group B and their lone loss came against the reigning champion.

They recovered to crush Rwanda 96-22, edged out Tunisia and beat Angola 62-56 to secure second place in Group B.

Hosts Madagascar started their quest with a resounding 62-29 win over Morocco, before being edged out by the Nigerians. They then fought past Egypt in their third game.

Angola opened their campaign with a 68-57 win over Tunisia but failed to win again in their other Group B games.

Morocco, who lost all their group games, will face Mali in the day's last Quarter-Final.

The reigning champions have not yet been seriously challenged in rolling to four straight victories by an average winning margin of 46.3 points.
