OPRO mouthguards ensuring on the court safety for IBF beneficiaries

MIES (Switzerland) – The Equipment & Venue Centre’s most recent partner, the mouthguard company OPRO has become the official supplier of the International Basketball Foundation (IBF) for its CSR projects.

The IBF accords high importance to health and security and is grateful that OPRO will be equipping the beneficiaries of its projects as mouthguards highly reduce the risk of injury on the court.

Commenting on the partnership, OPRO Chief Executive Officer David Allen said: “Wearing a top-quality mouthguard is imperative in Basketball and we’re excited to be able to provide support to an organisation harnessing the power of sport to do great things.”

The first recipients of the mouthguards were the participants of the IBF 3x3 Hoops Final in the Antilles.

The next IBF beneficiaries to receive mouthguards will be the children taking part in the FIBA Africa Mini Basketball Convention in Ifrane, Morocco on 16 to 18 November.

During the next year, participants in all IBF projects will be receiving mouthguards to ensure their safety on the court.
