Deadline extended for the FIBA Photo Contest 2021

MIES (Switzerland) – The 5th FIBA Photo Contest was launched earlier this year under the theme ‘Urban Culture and Basketball’.
The FIBA Foundation runs the photo contest as a way of promoting basketball's cultural heritage and promoting and disseminating its values.
Up to today, we have we have received 700 photos, from 77 countries and 421 different photographers.

To facilitate participation and taking into account the difficulties encountered due to the pandemic, the original deadline of 15 May has been extended to June 18th at midnight (GMT/UTC), the same day FIBA was founded 89 years ago.
Basketball and photography lovers now have more time to get creative and send in their photos for the chance to win some great prizes.
Furthermore, the best photos selected by the jury will be exhibited temporarily at the House of Basketball, in the FIBA world headquarters in Mies (Switzerland) and included in the book that will be edited for the 2021 Photo Contest.
