FIBA Approved basketball equipment and technology at heart of Paris 2024 tournaments success

MIES (Switzerland) - The backbone of what proved a spectacular and exhilarating Paris 2024 for basketball came in the shape of the FIBA Approved quality equipment and technology used at the events to ensure the sport was showcased to the highest possible standards.

The history and drama of the Men's and Women's Olympic Basketball Tournaments and 3x3 Olympics Basketball Tournaments will be remembered for years to come and helping the global stars of the sport to excel where the many approved products of the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre partners.

Having undergone stringent product testing via the protocols approved by FIBA’s Equipment & Venue Centre, the various products combined to provide a safe and high-quality platform for those truly exceptional Paris 2024 performances.

Specifically, the services and equipment of Schelde Sports, Junckers, Molten, Swiss Timing, Wilson, Magic Sky and Enlio all supported the first-class basketball entertainment that thrilled the millions of basketball fans watching worldwide - as well as those courtside in Lille and Paris.

The performance of these FIBA Approved partners in providing top-tier service and equipment was exemplary, setting the standard for the quality expected from all Equipment & Venue Centre approved partners.

For example, Junckers provided two wooden floors at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille and Bercy Arena in Paris, having previously equipped the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023. Molten special edition Paris 2024 balls were produced for the event, provided by FIBA's long-standing Global Partner.  

Schelde Sports provided the hoop and backboard for the 3x3 tournament, with Magic Sky providing the canopy and Enlio the flooring at Place de la Concorde. Players used the specifically designed Olympic edition Wilson ball.
