FIBA Women's Photography Program

With Women in Basketball being a strategic priority for FIBA and the desire to specifically increase the role of females at all levels of the sport, FIBA would like to create and develop a pool of young talented female photographers.

The FIBA Women's Photography Program is a unique opportunity for a group of female photographers to take part in an educational program on event photography, specifically for basketball. This program is to be conducted by FIBA's highly skilled photographers and expert mentors from the field.

The objective of the program is to provide education and training to a group of female photographers in the hope of encouraging them to become professional basketball photographers and eventually an official FIBA photographer.

The program would consist of four online workshops and ultimately the selection of one photographer to work at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 in Sydney, Australia.

Who can participate?

Young, talented female photographers with 2 to 5 years of experience working in the field of photography, who speak English, have a passion for basketball and are wanting to further enhance their skills.
