Who is your MVP at #FIBAU20Europe Division A? Vote now!
KLATOVY (Czech Republic) - The FIBA U20 Women's European Championship 2019 is nearing its conclusion and we want to know who has impressed you most so far.
Four teams are left fighting for the title, but which players have stood out and deserve to be your MVP?
Here are some of the leading candidates (in no particular order):
Anastasiia Zotkina (RUS) - As was the case with the U18 team, Russia have not been reliant on just one or two scorers. Zotkina is the only player in double figures and has been doing a bit of everything as her 15-8-6 stat-line in the Quarter-Finals shows.
Tima Pouye (FRA) - Pouye has ignited France with her lights out shooting. With an average of 14.0 per game, the guard has hit 22 points twice and is in a select group with 10 makes from 3-point range.
Lore Devos (BEL) - A distant second in the rebounding charts behind Massey, but with 8.8 rebounds per game along with 16.6 points (joint second), Devos has provided Belgium with a lethal 1-2 threat in the front-court.
Martina Fassina (ITA) - Stepped up in the dramatic last eight triumph over Spain with an important 22-point haul to lead the way. Fassina opened the tournament with 20 points as Italy made a slow start before finding their feet.
Billie Massey (BEL) - The tournament's leading scorer and rebounder with four double-doubles in four games so far. Massey has amassed 16.5 boards per outing and is fresh of an All-Star Five appearance at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup.
Emmanuelle Tahane (FRA) - Tahane is a tireless worker in the paint for France and ranks 6th in the tournament charts in both rebounds (7.8) and overall efficiency (16.6) averages as well as putting up just shy of 10.0 points per game.
Sara Madera (ITA) - Another forward battling away for her side. Madera leads her team in scoring with 13.0 points per game and the leads the way in field goal shooting at 59.5%, whilst adding 7.4 rebounds.
Dalma Czukor (HUN) - A painful defeat in the Quarter-Finals for Hungary, but Czukor has shone bright with her all-round performances. The forward has 16.6 points per game as well as leading the tournament in steals with 3.4 per outing.
Someone else - Raquel Carrera and Iris Mbulito impressed for Spain, Mina Djordjevic has starred for Serbia, Valentina Kozhukhar adds quality to Russia and last year's Division B MVP Vernonika Vorackova has helped Czech Republic to survival just to name a few.
