Schio continue good form as they slide past BLMA

SCHIO (EuroLeague Women) - The momentum is still with Famila Schio as they improved to 4-1 in EuroLeague Women Group B with a hard-fought 61-55 home triumph against BLMA.

In the only match-up to take place on Thursday, Schio proved too strong for their rivals as they snapped the game open at the start of the last quarter.

Isabelle Yacoubou was the main thorn in the side of the visitors as the French powerhouse amassed a sparkling 15 points and 10 rebounds to take Schio to the win - although the victory was marred by a potentially serious injury to the in-form Eva Lisec.

There was an emotional first game back in Schio for BLMA guard, Giorgia Sottana, who spent a huge chunk of her career at the club. But she was not able to make it a winning return despite an impressive 18 points as her new side fell to 1-4.
