Nadezhda and BLMA to meet in EuroCup Women Final

MUNICH (Germany) - The 2018-19 EuroCup Women season will see a first-time champion crowned, with Nadezhda Orenburg and BLMA set to play in the Final.

Both teams completed the double in their respective Semi-Final series on Thursday, with Nadezhda edging out Famila Schio and BLMA eliminating Spar Citylift Girona.

French side BLMA made club history by reaching their first-ever European Final and will be looking to crown their successful season with a maiden title.

Their Russian rivals, Nadezhda are equally fighting for a maiden international trophy, having finished runners-up in EuroCup Women 2010 and EuroLeague Women 2016.

The Final will be played in a home-and-away format, with the first leg set to take place in Orenburg on April 3 and the second leg to be hosted by BLMA in Lattes on April 10.
