EuroCup Women Quarter-Final pairings drawn
MUNICH (Germany) - The EuroCup Women Quarter-Final matchups are set, following a draw in the FIBA Europe offices in Munich on Friday.
The draw was made without any seedings or restrictions, with all eight teams - the four winners from the EuroCup Women Round of 8 and the four teams joining as fifth and sixth-placed teams from the EuroLeague Women Regular Season - drawn from the same pot.
The Quarter-Finals will be played in a home-and-away format, with the two legs scheduled for March 7 and 14.
The pairings are as follows, with the teams listed first playing the return leg at home:
BLMA (FRA) v Carolo Basket (FRA)
Perfumerias Avenida (ESP) v Nadezhda (RUS)
Cukurova Basketbol (TUR) v Famila Schio (ITA)
Spar Citylift Girona (ESP) v Lyon ASVEL Feminin (FRA)
In the case of a EuroCup Women team being paired against a EuroLeague Women team, the EuroCup Women team will automatically enjoy home-court advantage in the return leg.
In the case of two EuroLeague Women teams or two EuroCup Women teams facing each other, the higher-ranked club, classified according to their respective Regular Season results, will play the return leg at home.
This principle applies for all subsequent rounds of EuroCup Women, with all pairings preset. For the full bracket, please click here.
