    KIGALI (Rwanda) – Six games into the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Pre-Qualifying Tournament taking place in Rwanda, and we can already see who is staying in contention for the solo ticket on offer for the next round of the qualifiers campaign.

    After Game Day 2, this is everything know:

    GROUP C

    In this group, the situation is clear: SEN will finish top of the group irrespective of the outcome of their game against PHI, then:

    • The winner of the game between Brazil and Hungary will advance to the Semi-Finals.

    • Philippines are now eliminated from contention
