VALENCIA (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Lithuania center Robertas Javtokas has signed for Eurocup champions Power Electronics Valencia.

One day of losing Australia international Matt Nielsen, the Valencians hit back with the capture of the 2.11m center who will be a pivotal player for the Baltic nation this summer at the FIBA World Championship when they take on Spain, France, New Zealand, Canada and Lebanon in Group D.

Javtokas played for Spain national team coach Sergio Scariolo last season in Russia at BC Khimki and averaged 10.1 points and 6.4 rebounds in the Euroleague.

He has signed a two-year deal, giving a boost to the Spanish team that will compete in the Euroleague this season.

Unicaja Malaga’s Omar Cook and Cajasol Sevilla’s Dusko Savanovic have also joined Valencia this summer, along with new coach Manuel Hussein.
