DUBLIN (SuperLeague) - It has been yet another busy and interesting week in the Nivea For Men SuperLeague with some notable additions made to a number of sides.
UCD Marian have confirmed the appointment of Cormac Connor to the position of Head Coach of their SuperLeague team with immediate effect.
Cormac has a wealth of coaching experience at all levels having coached at schools, club, and national league level in the past. He previously coached Marian to an undefeated National League Division 1 campaign and is currently Head Coach at Loreto Bray.
Additionally, he will take up the position of development officer for the UCD Marian Club programme. This will entail promoting best practice throughout the club and complete responsibility for the UCD Scholarship system.
Meanwhile in player circles, Merry Monk Ballina and Neptune have added two new Americans to their ranks for the remainder of the season.
Ballina secured the signature of Orlando Melendez. The 6'8" forward hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and comes to Ballina via the University of North Carolina.
Merry Monk Ballina created the space for Melendez after existing American Chris Smith headed south to take up a role with Neptune.
