Who are the favorites?
We just have to start with Miami (USA), who are the top seed for a reason and arrive with confidence after taking out the FIBA 3x3 Quebec Challenger.
The Americans want to hit top form before they journey to the Paris Olympics, so you know Miami will be playing their A-Game.

Led by speedy Nico Kaltenbrunner and sniper Matthias Linortner,
No.2 seed Vienna (AUT) have been super consistent so far on the pro circuit.
But they haven't been sighted on the World Tour since the Utsunomiya Opener, where they lost to eventual champs Miami in the quarters.
You just know the Austrians will be fired up, but so too will Riffa (BRN) who are desperate for a first title since these Belgians have played in new colors.
We've taken too long to get to Lausanne (SUI), who are one of the hottest teams on the World Tour after making the last two finals.
They are more determined than ever to finally break their curse on the World Tour and their chances are high if Westher Molteni keeps being the king of the half-court.

We just have to give a shout out to several other teams, including Partizan (SRB) who like Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon are determined to rediscover their best on the big stage.
San Juan Church's (PUR), last year's runner-up, are always a major threat because sniper Antonio Ralat makes magic happen in the clutch.
Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL) will be inspired because legendary Steve Sir returns to home soil, where he always has the shooter's touch.
Princeton (USA) and Beijing (CHN) can't be discounted making a deep run from the qualifying draw because they each have certified bucket getters - Henry Caruso and Ning Zhang.
Who are the players to watch?
We've already named a bunch, but there is one superstar whose shadow looms over the tournament. You know who I'm talking about - the man they call Himmer Fredette.
It's going to be Jimmer Mania in Edmonton because this collegiate legend and former NBA player is getting his radar set with the Paris Olympics approaching.

He's not the only superstar in Canada because Dennis Donkor is probably the best two-way player on the planet and he's determined to end Riffa's title drought.
Partizan struggled in Chengdu, but they have a good chance to get back on track because Stefan Milivojevic plays bully ball on the half-court. It's just not fair for opponents because this dude is built like he is in the UFC.
Dominique Jones aka 'Disco Domo' is an OG entertainer, but he's still inventing tricks with the Wilson. He's not the only magician in Edmonton because Gilles Martin can also do things that should not be humanly possible.
And if you want to see some insanely talented youngsters, strap yourself in because Lorenzo Thirouard-Samson and Jiaren Zhao are part of the New Gen ready to take over the world.
