The main venue of the FIBA U20 European Championship is the historic Helsinki Ice Hall, which also served as the main arena of the European Championship in 1967.
Helsinki Ice Hall is both the home arena of ice hockey team Helsingin IFK as well as the Finnish basketball national team, the now-famous “Susijengi” aka “Wolf Pack”. The arena has hosted several major expos, shows and concerts during the past decades.
Helsinki Ice Hall is only 1.5 kilometres away from the Central Railway Station and is easily reachable by public transport – or even by foot.
The maximum capacity of Helsinki Ice Hall is 8,200 spectators.
PASILA SPORTS HALL

The second venue of the FIBA U20 European Championship is Pasila Sports Hall, less than a kilometre away from the Pasila Railway Station (only a five-minute train ride away from the Helsinki Central Railway Station).
Pasila Sports Hall is also easily reachable by bus number 23 from bus pier 2 of the Central Railway Station. A bus ride from the Central Railway Station to the Radiokatu bus stop takes 20 minutes. Pasila Sports Hall is located right across the street from the Radiokatu bus stop.
Home of Finnish floorball team Viikingit, Pasila Sports Hall has also hosted junior international basketball games. The maximum capacity of Pasila Sports Hall is 2,000 spectators.
