MIAMI (United States) – BCL Americas Season 4 will have Flamengo (BRA), Instituto (ARG) and Peñarol (URU) to form Group C. This is how the three teams will enter the tournament:

[FLA] Flamengo (BRA)

They were runner-ups in Brazil’s NBB season last year, and currently in second place in the standings in the regular phase, with an 11-1 record.

Flamengo has been part of the four BCL Americas seasons. They were crowned champions in the second season (2020-21) and runner-up in the first season (2019-20).

Coach: Gustavo De Conti
De Conti arrived at the club in the 2018-19 season. Under his reign, Flamengo has reached the BCLA and Intercontinental Cup titles. At the local level, they won a Carioca Championship and a Super 8 Cup.

This current Argentine season, they occupy third place in the standings with a record of 12-4.

Instituto comes back for more after being absent from BCLA Season 3. They had their best performance in the first season when they advanced to the Semifinals. Yet in the 2020-21 season they failed to get past the Group Phase.

Coach: Lucas Victoriano
Victoriano arrived at the club last year and guided it to the National League championship. The former Argentina national team player previously had notable stints for Regatas Corrientes and Estudiantes de Concordia.
