The FIBA 3x3 U17 Europe Cup 2022 will be played in Athens, Greece on September 2-4, nearly ten years to the day after Athens hosted the first-ever FIBA 3x3 World Cup, which was also the first 3x3 senior national team competition organized by FIBA.
The FIBA 3x3 U17 Europe Cup is a yearly competition. This is the second edition of the FIBA 3x3 U17 Europe Cup and will be organized at a location to be confirmed. Spain’s women and Slovenia’s men are the defending champions.
Contrary to the "open" network of tournaments (which includes the 3x3 World Tour), players taking part in the FIBA 3x3 U17 Europe Cup do not create the team themselves, but instead are selected by their national federations to represent their countries.
In order to be eligible, players who compete in the 3x3 U17 Europe Cup must have a confirmed account on play.fiba3x3.basketball and have the nationality of the country they represent.
