MINSK (FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018) - The Group Phase of the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018 is in the books, so we're asking which player has given the best individual performance in a game so far?

Iliana Rupert
came into the competition with a big reputation as the MVP of the FIBA U16 Women's  European Championship 2017 and wasted no time in impressing with 18 points, 16 boards,5 blocks and 3 steals against Japan.

Columbia are playing at their first edition of the U17 Women's World Cup and Maria Alvarez wrote herself into the tournament record books at the first attempt with a competition high 10 three-pointers and spectacular 35 points in an overtime loss to Belarus.

In the same game, Yuliya Vasilevich made it an opening night to remember for the host nation as she lit it up for Belarus with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. 

Florencia Chagas pitched up with an amazing and historic triple-double for Argentina in an overtime win against Spain. She harvested 17 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists.

 But, on the flipside, do 16 turnovers affect her chances of winning the vote?

Jordan Horston of USA brought her 'A Game' in the outing against China as she finished the contest with a dazzling 18 points on 7 of 8 shooting, to go with 8 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 steals.

Finally, Aminata Brahima Sangare was inspirational for Mali as they came close to upsetting Italy - and not for the first time in the history of the competition. She had a stunning line of 20 points, 18 rebounds and 4 steals.
