192 players from 16 teams ready to go at FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018

MINSK, Belarus (FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018) - The FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018 is ready to tip off after the finalized rosters of the 16 participating teams were verified and confirmed.

The competition gets underway on Saturday, July 21, in Minsk, Belarus.

Group A: Japan, Colombia, Belarus, France
Group B: China, USA, Italy, Mali 
Group C: Argentina, New Zealand, Spain, Hungary 
Group D: Angola, Latvia, Canada, Australia







During the Group Phase (July 21-24), each team faces the other three in its group (a total of 3 games for each team).

All teams advance to the Round of 16, where they will cross between Groups A and B and C and D (A1 v B4, A2 v B3, etc.). This opens the Final Phase of the competition which is played in a knock-out format. The winners of Round of 16 games will advance to the Quarter-Finals, while the losers move on to the Classification Games for Places 9-16.

The Final and 3rd-Place Game will be played on Sunday, July 29.
